Divorce Countdown
8 days and a wake up!!!
Keeping as busy as I can.... I am off of work for the next week and supposed to be going to the Poconos... Probably won't leave til Tues and stop over in MD for the night first.. Dad started putting in new lighting in my aunts kitchen and we need to fix it..
Sorta hit a stall in the house work - been relaxing instead of busting my ass - but I am cooking dinner every night and keeping up with the dishes too.. Hoping to finish up w/the laundry and get Dev's room organized tomorrow - neighbor is giving me dresser so each boy will have their own which will help ALOT since I will be able to put ALL the boys clothes away neatly....
Stepped away from the puter for a bit cause I just couldn't sit still long enough to concentrate to finish it up but hope to work on that this week too...
E is up for a promotion which will HOPEFULLY result in his being transferred to another state... should all go well he would be gone by the end of the year!! WOOO HOOOO If not there is an apt that comes available the end of Nov which he's most likely gonna take - God I can't wait!!! Living with him and trying to play NICE NICE is draining.... He will twist EVERYTHING I say after he's had a few drinks and of course no matter what it's not the right thing to say in his eyes... I soooo just wanna say BITE ME!!! Ah well soon enough I will be able to do that!!
Boys Update
Deven had a rough day Weds night/Thurs but he bounced right back and had a great day Friday... I know he senses all the stress plus having my dad there is disruptive to all our schedules... I kept him home Thurs since he was soo out of control/upset Thurs but I made him do a bunch of work and he did it all w/o any major hassles... I was so proud of him... and last Saturday he wrote a "morning sentence" all by himself by his own choice - my little man is sooo growing up!
Dilen still hates going to Preschool but they have started work w/him on his letters.... He tells me each day "I didn't have fun today!" in an almost defiant manner! *L* Of course I am sure he does but is smart enough to not want to admit it.... Today we FINALLY pulled out the bike I got for Deven LAST summer selling the fund raiser for the preschool/summer camp - well suddenly Dilen wanted his training wheels off... now we told him months ago when we could see him riding w/o looking around and we didn't hear the training wheels as he rode (we had bent them up a bit) we would take them off.... since Dev was getting a new bike w/o training wheels.... SOOOOOOO I took them off and damed if the boy didn't just get on and GO!!!! My little baby just got on and took off WITHOUT training wheels!! I was just TOTALLY amazed!! Tomorrow I will take some shots of him riding!
Then on the way to work today I took the back road behind the bldgs and had to stop to let 3 deer cross... they made it to the other side and then stopped and looked back - I wasn't sure if they were looking for a 4th or just looking at me... it was a very lovely, peaceful moment.... reminded me of all that IS good in the world that I sometimes miss out on since I have been sooo stressed the past few months.... Well it's off to do some paperwork and perhaps run out to get a bite to eat... Til next time...
